Pinworms (Enterobius vermicularis) are extremely easy to catch from someone who is infected. The infection is spread by tiny eggs deposited around the anus by the worms. When someone with pinworms scratches this area, eggs lodge under the fingernails and can be spread to anything he or she touches. Eggs are also spread by dust, clothing, bedding, or toys. When someone else accidentally eats the eggs, they also become infected with pinworms. When the eggs hatch, new worms crawl back into the intestine to reinfect the same person.

Pinworms are fairly simple to get rid of, the infected person takes a pill and everyone in the family or close to the child takes the pills as a preventative measure. The pill kills the adult worms and the eggs. Two weeks after the first dose a second dose is given to prevent reinfection. It can take a few weeks after ingesting worms for the adult worms appear and symptoms to become obvious.
Pinworms spreads easily in places like daycare centres where children are in contact with eachother and toys where the eggs are easily spread. Wash all clothing and bedding in hot water, and disinfect toys and other articles the children way have touched with dirty hands. Cut nails short, keep them clean and try (as best you can) to keep kids from putting their hands and toys in their mouth.
With little girls, pinworms can infect the vagina because of the close proximity. Adult worms crawl into the vagina, lay eggs and the cycle is the same as with standard pinworms.

Pinworms are intestinal parasites. At night the female pinworm migrates out of a person's colon, out through the anus and lays eggs on the skin of the buttocks. If a sleeping person then scratches back there, they pick up the eggs on their fingertips. Then all it takes is to put your fingers near your nose or mouth and they're ingested all over again.
Usually the only symptom of pinworm is being itchy around the anus, although with more severe cases you'll see dead (and often live) worms in feces.
Treatment is a single-pill dose. The worms are gone almost immediately. For girls with vaginal pinworms, most doctors don't bother to treat it because it often goes away on its own.

The young lady did not wipe her bottom well... must have wiped some feces into her private area. Thankfully a quick phone call to a doctor will solve this problem in 24 hours... there's a presciptive pill (yes, just one) that will do the trick of killing those pinworms.

I agree with the last entry. An easy way to kill them is with a Harmonic Quad Zapper - no pain, only takes 3 minutes, kills them all. Pin worms will borrow thru and can go into many of the organs including the heart and the brain. If you can't find someone with a zapper, there are good medicines that work as well.
