Most people believe that a loving God wouldn't send anyone into hell, but given mankind's track record of continuous evil/sin/lawlessness, I see no other alternative, lest He makes another way for us to get there. Can we ever be good enough to merit heaven through any religious works?

I have a huge problem with the concept that humans are never "good enough." That is a Christian edict that does not smack of a loving God, but rather a vengeful and hateful God.

God doesn't expect perfection, merely that each of us do our best to lead kind, generous and loving lives. That would be reflective of his image.

Churches and religious people who judge others as inadequate or "not good enough" or even sinners, are acting in God's role and judging despite a bible that says only God can cast such judgements.

You need to look within to learn to be nonjudgemental and to work on YOURSELF to be the best you can be. It is not your job to worry about others and their choices.

Lead by example. Try being honest, loving, generous and non-judgemental - like Jesus. You may well find that if you can be that kind of person, that others will want to be like you and will want to learn from you how to follow a good life.

Stop being a jerk!

Absolutley! It is God's wish that no one perish into hell. God himself, in the Father form cannot look upon Sin, so he sent his Son Jesus Christ into the world as a mediator. All sin was placed upon him at the cross and through him we can inherit eternal life in Heaven. God loves everybody, and all sin can be wiped clean by turning your life over to Christ. Sin will not enter heaven with the people who go there. It will be cleansed and purified. People will be transformed into whatever God's idea of the Perfect body is.

Well, you are correct, God does not have to do anything. He did sacrifice Jesus in order for us to have a relationship with God. That is the truth. The other part to what I am saying is that, you must accept the fact that Jesus did that for all people. In doing that act God, allowed us to once again have a relationship with Him. Here is another part to this whole thing - which is, we are given a choice. The choice to go to God or not to go to God is a human choice.

Remember works without prayer is dead as well as prayer without works is also dead. So as a christian both prayer and works as well as the acceptance of Jesus Christ is neccessary in order for anyone to get to heaven.

"The soul that sin shall die," no, sinners are not going to heaven. God took into account our fallen nature and made provision for reconciliation through His Son, "for whosoever believed in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." So heaven is for those who answered the call of God through Christ.

No sin, guilt, hell, judgment -- God is perfect love. All the negativity that we see is the result of not seeing ourselves as this love (and we then project this onto god, making him someone who judges, sends people to hell, makes people 'earn' heaven).

Heaven is just as crappy as hell. And endless nothing, with the emptiness devoid of itself. In one place you get the happiness of playing checkers for the rest of your life. The other side gets a hot coal poker reamed up their *** perpetually. How is either a kingdom of glory? God is dead...

Because we as Christians, are covered by the blood of Christ. Our sins are forgiven as long as we confess them and repent. Repent is the key word here. It means turn away from the sin and not do it anymore.

No, you can't be good enough. Unless one accepts the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross and receives that death as their own they will not recieve eternal life.
It is a dying to oneself and allowing the character of Christ to become who you are.

the dominion of God and the dominion of heaven are the comparable and don't definitely relate to all people going to heaven. Jesus did certainly bypass into heaven to be along with his Father yet we are promised resurrection whilst Jesus returns to establish his Father's kingdom right here in the worldwide. The Scriptures let us know that God made to worldwide so as this is could be crammed along with his glory. this is the church homes who let us know in any different case no longer the Scriptures. we are informed that as quickly as we die all of us be responsive to not extra till the advent of Jesus, we are additionally informed that we can't even compliment God as we talk. this is unhappy that folk do no longer learn their Bibles and check out what church homes definitely do coach with regards to what we study. SIN: we are informed that there is forgiveness of sin if we do as Jesus set the occasion and symbolically wash away our sins in baptism. no longer this dripping or sprinkling of water on people yet definitely going on into the water and coming as much as newness of existence. Then whilst Jesus returns we could have shown ourselves to be obedient to the command to try this. We try this as repentant adults, babies don't understand the assumption of sin so infant baptism isn't what the Bible speaks of.
