Then what do the dogs do that never bark? A dog is trying to communicate with you. Remember they don't really know what we are saying. Only be repeating and give treats do they obey what we say.

That depends-- If they're barking at the driveway---- they mean someone's here or someone's coming. If they bark at an empty food dish or at the bags or cans of dog food-- then they're saying i'm hungry i want food.... i think you get the point. Their barks mean the same as baby words--- you have to see what it might be that they want--- and then you can understand it.

This what my dog says:
"HEY YOU GET OFF MY LAWN" or:
"MAILMAN! MAILMAN! THIS IS MY HOUSE! GET AWAY! Oh, yeah, he's leavingI I scared him off! Now to inspect the mail."
My dog doesn't like strangers even walking on the sidewalk in front of the house. She also used to have a loud, booming voice before she blew out a vocal cord while barking (She's part beagle, so she's got that howl.).

I don't know, but somebody invented a machine a few years ago that's suppose to translate your dog!!
Here's the site, maybe you should get it, and then you'd know what your dog was saying!!
