Good Point... No one does know, but you know they are all going to tell you to look in the bible.

They have been told by a book that's about 2000 years old and been misinterpreted by many fanatics though out time, and they believe it.

Doesn't seem to matter that the world is billions of years old, they take the words of a few, in a relatively small amount of time, without proof.

But people see what they want to see, I don't believe of disbelieve, though I have done my homework and I have studied the bible, and how on earth anyone can live by a book that constantly contradicts itself is beyond me.

Mathew, Mark, Luke and John cant even get their stories straight, they all give different accounts of the same thing, if they were up in court now, the prosecution lawyer would have a field day with them.

You watch they will damn us to hell now!! well let em we all are entitled to an opinion.

Why do people ask questions that they don't expect real answers to?
You're just looking for a reaction, so I'll give you one.
I ask questions and seek answers about God because God is real and personal.
I know that God is real because the universe is real; there's comlex philosophical argumentation behind this assertion, which I'd be happy to spell out if you email me.
I know that God is personal because the world has personality; this, too, has lots of philosophy and reason behind it.
There are also documented occurences that are "supernatural." Supernatural things must come from outside of the natural realm. What exists outside of nature? God, satan, and other spirits. Thus, God (or satan or other spirits) is the cause of supernatural occurences. Thus, we can learn about God through these occurences.
Through lots more reasoning and historical evidence, we can conclude that Jesus is God, and therefore that the Bible is the Word of God.
THEREFORE, we can know about God.
Shoot me an email if you want to argue the points.

I have answers for a lot of the questions...
I can't say that I know what God is thinking all the time but I'm sure God would give me peace about a subject even if he doesn't explain exactly what is happening or why....

I believe there is evidence of God through all the wonderful stories that to me, as a result of cumulative effect, give proof of the existence of God if not even his intervention in our lives. Sorry for the long sentence.

I'll clue you in: We all have to find our own answers, and not just take what anyone else tells us as "the Truth." So, hopefully, everyone is asking questions about God. It's the journey that's important.

People who have direct enlightenment experiences know about God. But because they know that it's beyond description and that they need to be careful to not detract others with misleading concepts, they don't talk about it. Others, like me, ask for way too little and are content with silly concepts and the little rise for our egos when we think our knowledge is the bomb.

It is the nature of man to search for answers. What better questions to ask than those for which the answers have yet to be discovered?

What ticks me off is the people who are not looking for answers, but are merely trying to convince others of their viewpoint.

Whether or not god exists in your eyes, belief in God is certainly man-made. people like to comfort themselves by thinking that God is constantly watching over them. they also make themselves more holy in their own eyes by associating and learning about God. the exact meaning of having a god is not known, it is in the eyes of the person who chooses to belief. there is no textbook on god, not even the bible.

Would that include the question you just asked?

Contrary to your philosophy, millions of us are intimately knowledgable about God. You can be as well.
