I have been talking to this guy for 3 1/2 yrs, I am 23, hes 57 yrs old, we got a lot of chemistry, i live in oklahoma, he lives in Florida, we talk all the time on the internet, and we do talk on the phone as well. We talk all the time, hes single, never married, i am divorced, and have a daughter, he doesnt want kids. He doesnt have a problem with my daughter at all. so my question is why isnt he open up to much, he says he scares about me, and loves me as a friend, i am not sure if he wants a real relationship? should i move on or wait?

Well I'm not quite as old as your friend, but I've never married either. Come close a few time, but always chickened out at the end.
I'm commitment phobic, wish I wasn't but that's what I am.
So as much as your friend loves and likes you, the thought of getting tied down, scares the hell out of him.
At your age, and with your child, I suggest, you look for some one else, who wants you and your child as isn't afraid to commit.
So you can perhaps keep him as a friend, but forget about you and he tying the knot. I'm sure the large gap in your ages, doesn't help either.
With such a large generation gap between you, he will probably feel, that he can't possibly, keep up with you and your child.
It just scares the hell out of him.
It's a sad situation, as I am sure, you have a lot in common, but I suspect he's like me in that regard. Commitment Phobic.
So hon, just move on, you will be much better off and happier.
And lets face it, if you wish, you can still be friends with him.
