I have two cats. Last New Year's, my 17 year old Snowshoe Siamese died. I have never bonded with any animal as strong as I had with him. He was very intutitive and part of the family. I really think he was an exception to the rule since I was closer to him than any other cat.
I adopted a cat from the pound since. She is similar to a Russian Blue. I also have a Calico mix. We became closer after Pirate died. I like both of my cats. Just when I think I am closer to one, the other takes her turn.

Yes. I have had my oldest cat for 4 years and I love her more than anything. I recently got a new kitten and she acts weird now. I miss the old kitty she was. But she and I have a bond that would never compare to the new kitty. Don't get me wrong, I love my new cat too, she's still very bratty though.

I guess i do. I have three and one is an outside cat of my husband's.The inside two have me trained and I thought all along it was me doing the training. One opens the cabinet and I go get him treats but for a Simese that's not unusual. Road Kill thinks everyone must think she is adorable and wants to pet and love on her. Both try to talk to me and often rub up to me at the same time. I often say they are little people in fur coats that talk differently than we do yet they still get their feelings and desires accross very well. I try to treat them equal but I adore Road Kill as she was a ran over cat and left to die. She looks you in the eye without batting while Baby jumps you in the dark and runs off kitty laughing- darn cat- why must it alwys be in the dark? I guess I'm just having fun with my animals and miss them like I would kids when I'm away for a day or more.

Define stronger. That's like asking a parent which child they love the most. Each cat is loved and bonded with in different ways, just like children.

Well, I don't have any cats, but my sister and her husband do, and they are living with me and my mom until they can move into their new house, so I've been able to spend a lot of time with their cats. They both are nice, but they can be jerks. One in particular likes to be around me. He likes to come in my room and lay on the bed when I'm in there. He still bites me, though for no freaking reason! But he's so cute I can't stay mad at him.

I think most do. I have 2 cats and a dog and I am closest to my dog. My sister has 3 and she has the strongest bond with one of the males. I think its about personality! Cats and humans sometimes have similar personalities and so they bond!

I have a strong bond with both of my cats, both in their own ways. Callie, for instance, I've had since I was around 5, and she's 22 now. ^_^ Charlie, though, will sleep in the same room (sometimes in my bed) with me, and understands what I'm saying to her, and I understand what she means when she meows in reply. I love them both so much, and I'm going to be so depressed when they die. T_T But anyways, yes, I have equally strong bonds for both my cats. ^_^

There are presently 3 cats in our family- and we pretty much let them decide who they want to pay the most attention to.
The younger female kitten is chiefly my husband's cat, and the older female and the young male spend most of their time with me. Although the male will get my husband to pet him too.
