The story of the book discovery just went on Yahoo news at:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060725/ap_on_sc/ireland_ancient book

The book, with the rest of its pages stuck shut, is open to Psalm 83 which cites a plot to cut off Israel from being a nation. Among the plotters listed are the Ishmaelites, Edom, Moab, Philistines and the people of Tyre, among others.

No more than I think a piece of toast actually has an image of the Blessed Virgin Mary on it. I think its a nice archeological find, but psalters were not uncommon, and some people, I am sure, like Psalm 83.

Kind regards,

Interesting maybe but not prophetic. If it wasnt planted there for shock value, then its just a coincidence. It cant be an original Psalm, it isn't even as old as Christianity let alone be anything from David's time. But the Pope will probably have them selling "AUTHENTIC" peices of it around the Vatican area. (My mom brought me back an AUTHENTIC rose pedal that was thrown at "Mary's Feet" 2000 years ago and mysteriously ended up in a plastic keychain when she visted Rome last year!!! Bet you wish you had one huh?? *snicker*) I am a Christian and the majority of us don't hold much water in such things.

You can't read anything at all into this. This could be a hoax for all we know and the page it was turned to is totally irrelevant.
