Matthew 24: 6-9
6You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains. 9 "Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me."
Everything is because lately we have two wars one in Iraq and another in Israel, plus, we have rumors of wars from North Korea. Christians are starting to be persecuted by the goverment more than ever. Also we have natural disasters and sickness all over the world.

1 Thessalonians 5:2-3 says:
Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
Yes, the last days have begun; but do we know how long they will last? No; if Jesus compared the last days to labor, it's impossible to predict how long they will last; I labored 25 hours for my first child and 8 hours for my second.
I created a website to help people understand which current events can be accurately applied to certain prophecies. It's called http://www.correlationrevelation.com

Yes, I do think we are in the end times. However, I must acknowledge that there was reason for people to think that at nearly every time in history, because famines, earthquakes, wars, etc, has always been on the rise, meaning that today, there are more wars then ever, but in ten years, that will be true again, and in ten years after that, there will be more wars than ever in history. In a way, Jesus was pretty safe to say that. Whenever the end came, he could be sure that those things would be higher than they'd ever been before. Still, though, this is the first generation that it'd actually be realistic for the entire population to be stamped with the mark of the beast and be tracked. This is the age where people would actually have to rely on it, and be caught if they didn't get it. See infowars.com

Actually, nothing new as of yet. But they have not increased to such a degree as to cause undue concern. Yes things are starting to look worse than they have, but we are not there yet.
