nope. It happens... It happened to me about a year ago and I went to the doctor and he did nothing for me. He stated it happens and it will clear up in about 7-10 days.

I'm not sure what you mean, are you worried about your mom's eye or by how intolerant you are of its appearance - well as long as your mother knows what's wrong with her - and she has shown it to a doctor and the doctor has said that it will be fine - then no, you have nothing to worry about - just see to her needs and be helpful :) - hope she gets better soon.

Your mother's body will absorb the blood and all will be well. Like someone else has said, you can do this by just straining too hard. Don't worry, it just looks gross. I've had it a couple of times.

If she doesn't have a history of high blood pressure, may not be an issue. Sometime if you strain yourself, you can pop blood vessel in your eye. Although not pleasant to look at, she is probably ok.

Definately not.. the same thing happened to my mom when she put sunglasses on at walmart and the tag cut her eye. We poked jokes at her and called her resident evil.. lol.. it will go away, if not in like 2 or 3 weeks then maybe you should consult a physician.

Na, that happened to a guy at work. It was pretty nasty to look at but she will be fine. The guy I work with has adjusted to having 1 eye pretty quickly.
Just Kidding about the 2nd part. She will be fine in a week or two.

Yes. Any prob like that should be checked out. May be nothing. However, if it is something serious then she could loose sight in that eye or worse.

No, this happens quite frequently. Think of it as a bruise on her eye. This can happen while sneezing, coughing, or even using the restroom. Don't worry about it.

Nope- this happens a lot!!! It takes a while for the blood to absorb in the eye, so just give her a big hug, tell her you love her, and ignore it!!
