“In the world it is called Tolerance, but in hell it is called Despair, the sin that believes in nothing, cares for nothing, seeks to know nothing, interferes with nothing, enjoys nothing, hates nothing, finds purpose in nothing, lives for nothing, and remains alive because there is nothing for which it will die.”
-- Dorothy Sayers

you must be having hiccups of "NOTHING"

life has purpose.

The life in this world is a test for the Hereafter. The Qur’an says in Surah Al Mulk:
"He who created Death and Life, that He may try which of you is best in deed; and He is the Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving".
[Al-Qur’an 67:2]

"Every self will taste death. We test you with both good and evil as a trial. And you will be returned to Us." (Qur'an, 21:35)

==============

now stop saying nothing nothing, and get back to work.

That is just like asking yourself whether u r actually awake and alive now....this could all be a dream.

But if it isn't and we r alive now, u have to ask urself whether u believe in God, or the evolution theory....if the latter is correct, then this life was an accident....think about that.

What is a life's purpose?... It is difficult to answer. Some people enjoy the miseries of others and some love the sunrise, flowers, full moon, buterflies, ice cream, loving others, children, science, play, music, the wind, the water...find your own purpose because no one else will tell you what it is.

I am living for spiritual growth that I will never understand fully until the day I die. However, I continue to seek truth until that day. Peace.

Man must seek and work to give meaning to life so when death comes, a legacy is left behind.
Still there are people who live to eat when they are supposed to eat to live. What a sad state.

My life after the kids grew up seems meaningless and with no purpose.

and in the end no matter who or what you are good/evil

come from God...

are for God in one form or the other

and Go to God..

Re 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

God is my only reason to live and to serve while I am still here on earth.
