Because everyone woman ovulates differently, it is definitely possible to get pregnancy a week before your period (this is why the rhythm method doesn't work!) Also, sperm can live in the your body for up to 72 hours, so even if you had sex a few days before you actually ovulated, you could STILL get pregnant. If you ARE pregnant, the swollen eyes could be a hormonal reaction, I suppose. I know that a lot of women get congested during their pregnancy and this also serves as a symptom, so it could be in the same neighborhood. I hope this helps, and you get whichever result you want! Good Luck!

An egg is fertilized during the period of ovulation which is when the egg makes its way down the fallopian tube. If it unites with a sperm, it will embed in the uterus. Ovulation usually happens over a period of a couple of days mid cycle. You are usually safe about 5 days after your period and for about 5 days before (hence the rhythm method). You absolutely CAN NOT get pregnant during your period!!!!

If I were you, I'd wait to see if you get your period. If you don't, wait a week or so and take a pregnancy test. The symptoms you have could be attributed to a number of things: flu, food poisoning, lack of sleep. . .

If your symptoms persist or even if you are just worried, see your doctor.

Every pregnancy is different. All of mine have been and so have all of my aunt's, mom's & sister's pregnangies. My first pregnancy all I felt was sick to my stomach. My second pregnancy I noticed more body fat instantly, the most tender breasts ever, fatigue so bad I couldn't drive the whole first trimester and morning sickness untill 5 months pregnant!!! My third pregnancy I had morning sickness for only a week or two & my breasts weren't really that tender. My third pregnancy ended in a miscarriage & I knew it was ending because I suddenly had no morning sickness.

There is a very good chance you are pregnant, especially if you're feeling nausea & fatigued. Take a pregnancy test at home just to be sure.

Good luck!!!

your eyes being swollen arent a sign of pregnancy. I would wait until your period is suppose to come and if it doesnt start then wait 2 wks and take a PG test. It is not possible to get pregnant a week before your period. I would get an ovulation pridictor test and see when you are ovulating. Women usually ovulate 12-14 days after their cycle and day one of your period counts as the first day. Just count 14 days from then. I would just wait to see if your period comes if it doesnt then take a test. Good luck and dont stress yourself over it too much...its not good for ya!

yes you can get pregnant a week before your period. Maybe this pregnancy is just a llittle bit different. Change happens all the time in outr bodys you never know what to expect just keep a close eye on it dont stress tho that cna prevent your period even longer or take a pregnancy test theres those ones out that tell 5 days before your missed period use that one!

good luck

You cannot get pregnant on your period because, the reason your on your period is because the egg has died. So, If you do not start you period like it normally accrues then you should get a pregnancy test. The question I would ask is, "Are you trying to get pregnant?' If not, and you do start your period, please save your worry by using protection. If your are trying to get pregnant, wait until you do not have your period. The stress is not good for the baby.

The swollen eyes sounds like an allergic reaction. If it does not get better go to the doctor. If you are pregnant, you do not want to take any medication that has an antihistamine in it. Bad for baby development.....

Yes it is but the best thing would be to take a home pregnancy test just to be sure.

Yes, it's possible but highly unlikely! It's more likely that you have a virus and this would also be whats causing your swollen eyes.
Highly improbable that you are pregnant!!!!
