Just, I can't get my mind off a guy who is totally rejecting me basically, we hung out a few times only but I like him and the emotions are one sided fully... He's pretty shy not too outgoing pretty much emotionless, he is cute and has a funny personality but I shouldn't want him really when there is a guy who wants me quite a lot and showeres me with so much sweetness it should be what I run to quickly.... so WHY is it that girls always want what they can't have.. how can I convince myself to think STRAIGHT for once with guys and go for the GOOD one...

Chicks do this to me all the time... Im a good looking college fraternity guy and Im plenty single. They think Im nice, caring, and fun to be around. Do they initiate any "moves" on me?.... I don't think so
Instead, they are running to guys who are already taken as if it is like a game to them... they are trying to get the guys they can't have and it annoys the hell out of guys like me.
My suggestion to you would be to just give the sweet guy a chance. What hurt could it do you? Maybe int he end you will forget about the other guy anyway...

Everybody always wants what they can't have. The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. Something you can't get always seems more desirable just because you can't get it. Like the old joke about how you would never want to join a club that would take you as a member.

It's simple. everyone wants what they can't have. they figure that guy that is madly in love with them will always be there as a backup. they would rather go after someone who doesn't actually like them. People love trying to get what they know they can't have. I don't know why. I guess it is just the way our minds work.

We always want what we can't have. And also, we avoid the good ones because we are afraid, perhaps that we aren't good enough or that we'll screw it up, or maybe we will actually really love the guy and be happy and aren't ready for that, or think we don't deserve it. Who knows?
