To me, it wasn't important at all. My wife doesn't cook very well; in fact, I strongly encouraged her to avoid the kitchen entirely. I do all the cooking. We've been happily married for almost seven years.
Now, if you can't cook at all, and can't afford to eat out every night, then you probably want to find a woman who can cook.

About as important as it is for a guy to know how to work on the house, fix the car, put up a fence, yardwork. It doesn't have to be perfect, but it has to be livable(at least somewhat good). I don't mind helping either(I've actually lived by myself for 9 years, and taken care of myself, so I work on the house, fix my cars, yardwork, work 50-60 hours/week, cook, clean, wash clothes...).
Simple answer: A woman doesn't have to be a great cook, or cook often, as long as she's not a lazy woman.

Not important at all. Who cares? It's not her job to cook if she doesnt want to.

i dont care since im a good cook but a lady who can cook is a bonus

if you really care for her it doesent matter if she can cook or not just like her for who she is
