This happened to a relative of mine who hadn't received child support for app. 10 years. The only difference is that the deadbeats mother paid about 2,000.00 to get him out & my relative DID receive that money. However, she hasn't gotten any since then. It's just a cycle that repeats itself. If he moves out of state, you might as well just resign yourself to the fact that you're probably not going to any childsupport. Sorry, I know it's not fair.

Look up your nearby Family Court within the county in which you are living. You do NOT need to make an apt., you'll simply stroll in & the individuals there are very excellent & so inclined to aid. Tell them your tale & they w/inform you what can or can not be performed. There is also a Judge who presides over Family Court who would undoubtedly provide a ruling for your challenge. This is in which I'd begin out besides, because it might NOT take having to move see/pay an atty. however they w/do their quality by way of you. It's certain valued at giving it a check out besides. All the quality to you...:)

Probably not. The unfortunate thing is it's a circular argument. If he has a job and doesn't pay, he goes to jail. If he goes to jail...he looses the job and you still get nothing. Sorry, but this is the hard truth. They can garnish his wages in some states, but he may not want to work knowing this. Wish it was different ....sadly you can't force anyone to pay, as there are always ways around the system.

If his locked up, he probably has no income. Unless there are assets to garnish, there is no place to get the money from.
