I have a lot of resources that I can utilize, I try to use them all. This one I found productive at first, but I am honestly wondering if the benefits outweigh the grief. I have to seek guidance on this issue. To jump to conclussions when I am hot and tired is not a wise thing to do. Thank you for allowing me to spew.... No ill intent meant.
Peace and Love

I see the benefit of this site, which to me is this: people who don't have much experience socializing with Christians or those who don't care to get to know us can see first-hand how Christians act. Some Christians who frequent this board are not Christ-like, which makes me cringe, so that is why I am very careful as to what and how I say things. I try to think about how best to represent Christ, and in this way, perhaps others will see that Christians aren't all bad. Perhaps, through my actions and the actions of other Christians on this board, someone might even decide to accept the salvation offered to him or her by Jesus, and if that ever were to happen, then ALL of my time that I spend on this site has been beneficial. I also like to find specific questions such as, "Is there are church in such-and-such a city?" or "Will there be a women's retreat in Texas in August?" Or if people have a question about someone's life in the Christian ministry, it's fun for me to research it for them.

oh I think I know what you mean now! What you are asking if we use Yahoo Answers in Religon and Spiritulaity to enhance our own knowlege of the Bible?
No, that's just a fringe benefit of it.
Because I learn new things all the time.

Grief? Are you talking harrasment? Or just knowing that there are those that don't believe?
If you are being Harrassed - REPORT IT!
If you mean realizing that people don't believe - it was so hard for me too.. I had to pray about it- and I keep praying that God's spirit would move in their hearts. It doesn't get to me like it did.

You are welcome. You may spew at me anytime. You can e-mail me if you like.
No ill intent taken.
Love and Peace to you too.

Not I. But I like to read questions and answer them if I feel they are sensible and worthwhile to do so. Being interested in others perception of anything is a way to learn things. It opens doors and new ideas into ones life. They don't necessarily have to incorporate these things into their life, only use them as a perspective to have input in their daily life, when they speak with those that have enough intelligence to hold a conversation about worthwhile subjects. You meet the criteria........

digi any means of information regarding religion and spirituality can enhance our spiritual path
we learn so much about others and i think what this site does that other sites do not do , is show people for who they are as they speak freely here due to the anonymity
i know your having a tough night babe but there are many wonderful people here in amongst the silly ones
but if this isn't what you need in your life babe then don't put yourself through it
there are other places and other people out there
love to you xx

I am not at all sure what you mean by a spiritual path. I'm a scientist, and require at least a modicum of evidence before I will believe in anything. Faith is evil. A theory must be refutable to make predictions. Those are my basics.

Thx to many askers & answerers in answer.yahoo.com, I can find really interesting clues in my quest.

I needed to know to which "category" I belong to, and thx to people over here, I have found this out, eventually:

I am a non-theist & a "star enthusiast" (astronomy).

There are many smart persons who anonymously ask/answer over here.

As for "religion & spirituality" section, I also find "clues", but I really wish that "religion" & "spirituality" are distinguished from one another in 2 categories.

I think it would help rise much more spiritual questions/answers without being disturbed by debates "religious vs anti-religious".

I have been interested in religion and spirituality most of my life. This sight inspires me to do more research and to learn more. I like to share what I beleive and I also like to know and understand what others believe. I also like to answer questions just to help people just as when I ask a question I appreciate a good answer.

No. LOL I'm curious about what other people think about these things. The only thing it's good for is maybe learning about something you hadn't heard of before.

i understand your frustration...i had hoped to get some insight, maybe some other points of view to think about, maybe even get into some discussions about the Bible...but so far i've spent most of my time reading verbal abuse, lame attempts at comedy, a few threats..it seems that the level of discourse has been going steadily downhill...
