There is nothing wrong in dating your best friend: until such time as the relationship ends, and you are friends no more!!
If you value you friendship, more than you would value having a relationship... personally I would be tempted to stay as friends... this is difficult, no one can say different... but rather to stay Friends... than run the risk of a sour relationship and loosing a Friend!!
Only you can really answer this question!!!

The best relationships in the world are first started as friendship... I can't think of anything that could be possibly more logical than to be friends with someone first and then go out...
When it does fail however, is when the 2 people lose track of what they loved about each other and end up doing everything between the sheets rather than just "Hanging out" like they used to...
My advice is go for it, but don't lose sight of what you had before you were together. :D

No not at all. Just be aware that once you have crossed the more than friends boundary line there usually isn't any going back. But its worth a shot plus you two are already bestfriends, how cool is that?

They saw that a girl and a guy that are bestfriends make a perfect couple because they can relate to each others feelings and emotions. It is not wrong at all.

Make sure this is what you want. If something goes wrong and ya'll break up, you will lose his friendship. Before you go any further, make him promise that if something happens you will still be best friends.

it's ok to date but remember it's more than friendship now and the rules you both have about that will be different. if you are over 35 I'd say it's not a fab idea but i think you're younger, so go for it.

If you value your friendship more than the risk of a relationship with your friend, then just remain friends. If you take that "next step" with him, and it doesn't work out, would you remain friends?? That is what you have to ask yourself. Good luck!

If you like him and he likes you, then NO, its not wrong.
But keep in mind, that your relationship will probably end with a breakup (like most young relationships do.. its all part of growing up) and you guys might not be able to still be friends.
