Sometimes a kitten or puppy that is about 4-6 months will have horrid breath due to the loss of the baby teeth and the icky blood that sits in the mouth!!! IF the kitten is losing teeth that is likely the cause. If not, see the vet and have them check for something that could be stuck on the roof of the mouth or between the teeth. Weird things can get stuck there!!!!!!!!

No way to answer that without details.

If the kitten is between 3-7 months, it might be teething, and that can cause bad, rancid breath. If he/she is otherwise healthy and active, that would be a good guess. If it's the teething issue, the bad breath will pass in a few months.

Bad breath can be an indicator or illness or bad teeth. Bad teeth can cause other health problems, including heart and kidney problems, so having teeth checked and/or cleaned periodically is a good idea. If the kitten seems at all ill, get to the vet.

Go to the vet, and if your kitten is healthy ask them for advice. If they say it is ok, try wheat grass or breath freshener kitty treats, available at Petco or Petsmart, I believe.

Anytime there is anything wierd going on with an animal take it to the vet. i know this can get expensive, but there is pet medical insurance. Anyway, I hope your kitty is fine.
