"Enjoy by" Dates?

Hello there,
when a package of yogurt says "Enjoy by" and then a date...is that date the day it expires? Can you still eat it on that day?

You probably need to eat it by that date. I'm sure it's OK to eat it on that date, as long as it doesn't smell bad.

Yes, it is safe. and it is the best date to do it. (like an apple you would enjoy the best BY the time it gets ripe)
