well he sometimes will. but he is not really angry. he is probably just jealous. so dont be frustrated because you think he is angry he is just jealous. tell him how sucsessful he is. pretend his job is great. make him feel great about his job. make him embrace his jobsmenship(if that is a real word.)

Most men want a woman who's "feminine". That's a fact. A "successful career woman" sometimes can be very aggressive and bossy--not exactly the most feminine qualities. But then again, I guarantee that some men ARE intimidated by a successful career-driven woman, even if she isn't a bossy pain-in-the...
This is a tricky question that I'd say is sometimes true, and sometimes false.
Sometimes men are intimidated by a woman who pulls down a larger income than him. It's perfectly natural. After all, we men traditionally have always been the bread-winners of the family. Being intimidated to some degree is perfectly understandable. But then at the same time I guarantee there are those "powerful career" women--not all, but a few of them--who constantly claim men are intimidated by them mostly to cover up the fact that they're an aggressive, bossy, nasty b*tch that no rational man would ever want to marry. Obviously, the answer to this question really needs to be judged on a case-by-case basis.
I do believe balance is possible here. Without question, this is one of the biggest challenges facing a woman in this modern age--being successful in one's career AND still finding a way to be perceived as feminine by the opposite sex. I'm sure this one is quite the tightrope act that you ladies must deal with! But don't worry, we men have plenty of challenges of our own to deal with in this age where none of us are really sure what makes a "man" a man and a "woman" a woman anymore.

Actually, some men are. They think that any woman who does better than they do in the career business should not be messed with. That's why a lot of these successful business women get stood up on dates all the time. And, that's one of the things that makes it harder to find a good, solid man to be with these days.

I would say the majority of men would be intimidated by a successful career woman.

i havent gone out with any, I cant imagine I would be intimidated by them cause i have no interest in most people like that, most of them seem to be chasing the jonses and that doesnt turn me on. I guess if she has something else to talk about than work, or if she does some interesting things for work, and isnt snobby about it, she would be ok. I have enough money and stuff that i dont really have to work, can do pretty much what i want when i want, I feel that I am beyond all that career stuff, i have no one to answer to.

Some men may be, but most mature men are happy to find a successful career woman. There are plenty of guys out there who would be happy about it.

If they themselves aren't successful, they could be intimidated by successful career women but if they are secure about themselves, there should not be any reason why they will be intimidated by them.

I think a successful career woman is very attractive. Especially someone who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to go after it. But the man would have to be comfortable with who he is if the woman is the bread winner in the relationship. He couldn't have ego issues.

I think some men are because they like to be the bread winners. But on the other hand I think its awesome. Because at least it shows that you are a motivated person. I think majority of men are a lil intimidated.

Nope most guys don't care as long as your pretty and kinda nice.
Guys are not concerned with a woman's career, Its usually the woman who is concerned with what type of career a guy has.
