Well, you're correct that the verse says that. But come on. You could look at every verse in the Bible that is 9:11 and see no real connection to the events of 9/11. Yes, God may have known that 9/11 was going to happen. The people who wrote the Bible are not God. They had no clue of any such coincidences in their writing, and I wouldn't even consider it a coincidence. A promise of no flood doesn't equate to terrorists taking over planes by any measure.

There are only 365 (sometimes 366) in a year. It is very likely that whatever day something happens on, you can find a Bible verse that matches in number. If the terrorist attacks occurred on 7.12, I'm sure you could look something up and name something somewhere in the Bible, it is a pure coincidence.

Now since the 9.11 attacks were carried out by fundamental Islamists believing that what they were doing was Allah's mission, by quoting this Bible verse, are you implying that Allah is actually the supernatural being of our universe, and not the Christian God? Since the God in the Bible said He would not flood again, do you think it is really Allah and He decided to instead of flooding attack our buildings in the US?

The world wide flood happened in the end of oct and the first day of November. According to ancient manuscripts.
The account you are looking for is Genesis 8:21,22
The earth will never cease
The meek will inherit the earth.
Psalms 37:9,10,11 the next time only the wicked people will die and the animals will eat the dead bodies.

He promised to never again destroy the whole earth by flooding it, and so far, He has kept that promise. If September 11, were God's judgment on the earth as in the days of Noah, the whole earth would have been destroyed. If it were God's judgment on New York City as in the days of Sodom, the whole city would have been destroyed.

um...yes. y'see, 9/11 had nothing to do with a flood, nor the destrucion of the world. exodus 9:11 is about boils, leviticus 9:11 is about burning flesh of a sacrifice, nubers 9:11 is about eating bitter herbs and unleavened bread and deuteronomy 9:11 is about the giving of the two tablets of the law. coincidence...nope. chapter numbers are a relatively late addition.

God didn't flood the earth as in gen 9.11 but if you believe that do you believe the rest....

that God is remorseful having killed everyone, so he promises never to drown them all again. He puts the rainbow in the sky so that whenever he sees it, it will remind him of his promise… ha, ha, ha what a crock of ****!

Well, since Genesis is the FIRST book in the Bible, wouldn't it make more sense to look at events that took place on:

1.9.11

Or will take place on the next 1.9.11?

What do other Biblical books in chapter 9, verse 11 say?

I don't see how the flood of the Bible has anything to do with 9/11. God didn't MAKE the terrorists attack us!

What planet did you come from?

I do not remember the exact words but God DID promise not to flood the whole world and destroy (almost) all life as He did in Noah's time.

However He did not promise not to bring floods at all.
