When I visited Toronto, I stayed in Toronto at the Best Western Travel Inn on 5503 Eglinton Avenue West. There were a few Indian or Paki communities around that area. Plus, the hotel looks very nice on the outside and inside. The price was very good.

You can go to the many Indian or Paki restaurants in that are. Or drive to Hamilton and eat there as well.

I am not sure about accomidations in that community. Toronto has three large indian communities. Coxwell and Gerrard St. Islington and Albion Road and Airport and Derry Rd. The last one is adjacent to our International Airport. Standard Sweets on Derry Road makes the best Channa Masala, by the way! Obviously, the Hotels close to the Airport are expensive. There are Motels on Lakeshore Blvd. West that are resonable. If you will be driving, it should not be a big problem. Enjoy your trip.

Thankfully, Canadians aren't big on segregation. You'll find Indians in any community because everyone lives together peacefully. You'll find a vast array of Indian restaurants. The area around Coxwell and Gerrard is considered the East Indian shopping district, but if you look around you'll see there's a little something everywhere.

I hope you enjoy your stay here, Rahim.
