I suggest just take a deep breath before answering any question

I've interviewed before and agree with the person above. Group interviews are easier and much more laid back as everyone is trying to be social, light, and funny. That's what I would expect going in. Also, I found a big help is to get there like a half hour early and just sit in the parking lot for a while. This way you can get used to being there and gather your thoughts. While your sitting there in your car, take some deep breaths and assure yourself that you're prepared and that you'll do fine. I did that for an interview, and over the half hour, much of my anxiety melted away. I ended up getting the position. Good luck.

I also agree that it doesn't hurt at all to let them know you're nervous. I also did that and it helped me out.

IF they ask you if you want a glass of water say yes.. then keep it with you and when they ask you a question that you need to think a bit, take a pause and a sip of water, this will help you calm down and regroup your ideas. Make sure you shake everyoens hands, and have a copy of your resume for each person. Take a note pad and if you are asked a complex question then you can write it down. Also on your note pad think of some questions you may want to ask them.. if you get nervous you can just look down at the questions. One might be " what are the current and biggest challenges you expect this position to face?"

Make sure you know what to do with your hands. Plan it first because if you are nervous you may start to fidget, so put you hands on your laps .

If you are absolutely nervous to the point that it looks like you are loosing the battle, tell the interviewees that you are nervous, and this job is important to you.

5 people at once... I actually went through exactly the same thing.. the key is to just tell yourself (this will sound weird but it worked) that there is no way you'll get that position and then once you have this in mind act like you have nothing to lose since it wont' matter what you say or do and believe it or not that takes away some of the stress of the interview..

Smile.........but not like a cheshire cat.
Relax......but dont be too chilled.
Answer the question, not what you think they want to hear!
Answer and then illustrate with example.

One way to relax is to imagine them on the toilet seat, that way no one is intimidating.....

For your answer to question "would you like to ask anything?".....
Smile......be confident......you should have reasearched the job anyway and know all about, even if you didnt tell them you do....
now here's the killer answer.......
" No...I have done my research about the post so I dont have any further questions. However are there any fruther questions the panel would like to ask me to demonstrate I am the very best candidate for the job"

just look at your last words in that statement, psychologically u have told them ur the best as your leaving statement.

GOODLUCK

we do the same thing at my office (group interviews). despite what you may think, we DON'T do this to scare you... we do it so we as the hiring people can get more input about the people we are considering. most jobs need people that can easily interact with others, we want a "people person"... someone with a personality, with a sense of humor, with a geniune friendly attitude. don't get nervous, get comfortable. it will work best for you in the end.

relax. tell the truth. be yourself. show interest in the interviewer and and the company. The interview ? It's not so much about you ,but about how well you will fit into their organization. They are looking for someone that fits to their needs . not your needs
good luck . congratulations
