Relax. Believe me, it will come naturally and it's fun.
Here are some tips:
It's best to kiss with your heads off-set at an angle.
Always try to swallow before you kiss. Moist, not wet.
Get your hands in on the action. Caress his face, hold his neck and pull him to you.
Suck and nibble the lips in between the tongue-probing.
Every now and then, detour away from the lips, elsewhere on the face.
Don't dominate the kisses. You are kissing together.
Stop in time. Make him want to come back for more.

Well, do you want to kiss him back? If you do, then just find the right moment to kiss, if not, then just don't give any signs that you do or get stuck in the moments where it is just you two. Or even just say you are not ready.

Why dont you start out simple...Closed mouth and a kiss on the lips, cheeks, forehead, you choose...Its a nature thing, it just happens and everyone feels goofy the first time. If you like this guy tell him this is your first kiss, he may help you practice.

Let him kiss you then slap him as hard as you can in front of as many people you can...than he has the satisfaction of kissing you and you have the satisfaction of giving him the hint you don't want him to kiss you!And don't be scared people kiss all the time.

If you like him, but want to go steady with him, just tell him. Tell him that you think that it wouldn't be right at the moment and say maybe in a few years. But, if you don't like him, and he still tries to do it.... I agree with Andi, slap him hard!
