Ignore demongod. Real cooks know "receipt" is another word for "recipe". And here is a good salad: chop a head of lettuce or get two bags of the pre-washed kind. Place in salad bowl. Chop a small purple onion and two tomatoes. Add to lettuce, Chop a handful and fresh basil and add to above mixture. Mix a package of dry Italian dressing mix as per package directions, using olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Toss a half cup of dressing with your salad, add Marie Calendar croutons, and serve. Yummy!

Marinated Salad

1 can English Peas, drained
1 can Shoepeg Corn, drained
1 2-oz Pimento, drained and chopped
3/4 cup Celery, chopped fine
1/2 cup sweet Onion, chopped fine

1 tsp. Salt
3/4 cup White Vinegar
1 tsp. Pepper
1 tbsp. Water
1 cup Sugar

In saucepan, combine salt, vinegar, pepper, water and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Cool and pour over vegetables. Regrigerate overnight.

Chop some lettuce, cook a package of frozen green beans until tender...let cool. Then add to your lettuce with a tin of corn and some cherry tomatoes. Dice some ham or smoked turkey slices and add to the salad... Add chopped onion and hard boiled egg...
Serve with your favourite dressing

Put all your veggies in a bowl, then cover with Ken's Lite Caesar Salad Dressing and mix. Let stand in refrigerator at least four hours. Stir, then stir. They become al dente and are delicious. Enjoy!

MEXICAN COLE SLAW
1 avocado, ripe, peeled and diced
1 bunch cilantro, finely diced
1large tomato diced
1 cabbage, sliced and diced
1 cup diced celery (or a whole bunch of celery)
1 brown onions, diced
1 fresh jalapenos, seeds removed then diced
Mayo
salt/pepper to taste

In a large bowl - Add the cabbage, then the cilantro, tomato, celery / onion, jalapeno and a dash of salt/pepper.
Add the avocado then 3 big spoonful of mayo or just enough to moisten to your taste. Mix well. Chill for 1 hour and serve cold

Sure! Use fresh romaine lettuce, tomatoes, sliced carrots, and some pieces of roasted chicken breast. Toss together with a handful of pecans or walnuts, egg slices, and goldfish crackers, with a lite honey mustard dressing :) mmm mmm Good.
