According to all optomitrists i've been to, i'm..'farsighted'..but honestly, I feel like I can't see either way. In fact, I actually feel more nearsighted than far. What's up with that? Currently, there isn't technology availiable for farsighted lasik surgery. If I were to get nearsighted treatment, would that improve my vision at all?

Of course, that's why they make bi-focals. It sounds like you probably have astigmatisms as well. That means you have a distortion of your lens. If one side of your the lens in your glasses is thicker than others that is an astigmatism. I have no idea if Lasik surgery can fix vision like that but I wouldn't think so.

Yep! It's called Presbyopia and Hyperopia.

Laser surgery (Lasik) can improve one or the other but not both. Most people I know who have had this procedure choose to improve their "distance" vision and wear reading glasses for close up purposes.

There is another procedure that will restore eyesight to 20/20 but it is very ex$pensive! (About $5,500 per eye). It is called Crystal Lens.

There are drawbacks to all corrective procedures. I suggest you google "Lasik" and "Crystal Lens".

I don't know what solution to give you, but it is possible to be farsighted in one eye and nearsighted in the other.
