Eventually you're going to have to let him cry. You can't walk around forever. Most babies enjoy the feeling when you walk because it is similar to how it felt in the womb, but if you constantly let the baby have his way, 1) You're going to get worn out and 2) He's not going to learn how to be comfortable in all situations. He's still a bit young, but it is probably time to start making him deal for a few minutes at a time and slowly start increasing how long you make him deal with a different position. Eventually he will realize that he can be comfortable in all positions and that you'll still hold him no matter what.

You have a beautiful baby and you have what all new mothers have spoiled baby blues. The baby deserves all the attention that you are giving but, if you don't put the baby down sometimes your gonna have a real big problem in a few months you won;t be able to leave the baby with anyone.
You won't be able to shower, eat or sleep unless baby is with you.
I have two children of my own. My first child was the same way. I couldn't go back to work because he would cry the whole time when i left to go to work.
The baby sitter told me to let my baby sit in his chair or his swing
or else I won't be able to work any where.
I want you to give baby all the attention he or she needs but, if you don't let baby rest from your arms for a while you are gonna have some problems when you try to go anywhere. GOOD LUCK.

It is the movement when walking that they like. You need to rock your body back and forth slowly as you go to sit down and then continue rocking back and forth. You will find that it will become so second nature you will be doing it even when you aren't holding the baby........in the line at the supermarket, etc.
A baby swing would help a lot and ask other moms that you know what they have done. They might have an extra swing you can use.

Is it too quiet in the house? When a baby in the womb, he is constantly hearing sounds. The average decibels a baby is hearing in the womb, is equivalent to a household vacuum cleaner running 24/7. Most people when they bring baby home, make the mistake of trying to be "quiet" all the time. Try turning on some music (not rock, but maybe classical) during the day and see if that helps.

Well, with my first child I went through the same thing...Everytime I'd lay her down she'd scream...This went on until she was about 6 months old. Someone gave me some advice that should be shared...LET THEM CRY! It nearly killed me to let her lay in her bed and cry...Sometimes I'd cry right along with her...But, it paid off. After a few days of her crying herself exhausted, she stopped crying and learned how to put herself to sleep. Now, with 3 children, I realized that I would never make that 'mistake' again...It's really easy to constantly hold a first child. It's also really hard to learn when to put them down. Some tips: Close the door, go outside on the porch, read a book/magazine or talk on the phone...It helps!Good luck!

You shouldn't keep walking around. Get a rocker or something that moves when you sit as an alternative. If you set up a routine with always walking around, he will expect it and you will never get a chance to relax. You have to avoid doing things with him that make you uncomfortable. I recommend getting a small bouncer with the vibrating mode. That way you can put him down and get things done.. It does wonders. Good luck.

Sounds like colic, he may need a belly massage. You might also see if he is tugging his ears.
Both those things ok? then let him cry sweetie. sometimes they just do... for no reason that anyone can figure.
Just try hard not to let it make you crazy.

He's got you trained!!...lol....It is OK to let him cry, try for 10 minutes of letting him cry, then if he is still crying come to him and rub his belly or back and talk very soothing to him until he is calmer and go back to what you were doing...keep doing this until he realizes that its OK to be alone and that you are not to far away...try to stay in his site....

god you are making hard work for your self..the more you do this the more he will want..let him cry..because if you dont you just know he aint going to sleep, unless he is in your arms. i know itll be hard work because hes your child and only very young..but you must get him out of this stage..so try to confort him laying in his cot rather than rocking him in your arms and walking up and down..and try to resist the temptation of carrying him any and every where..
