we're feeling good together, we talk allmost every day on the phone, sometimes for hours.... we go out, she knows i like her, i buy her flowers, it's like she's my girlfriend but we do not seem to get to that first kiss. she tells me that i'm her best friend and that she do not want me to get hurt. i know she likes me but she does not tell what's holding her back. and this is going on for almost 1 year now whith a few pauses. now we live in the same city and still nothing is changing....if you have a clue i'll get back whith more details. thanks!!!

It is possible for a woman to just be friends with a guy..I am just friends with several guys. Maybe she's interested in someone else or maybe she's just scared to say anything about how she feels. This is something you need to talk to her about. Tell her how you feel and ask her how she feels about you. You will feel a lot better once it is out in the open....Hope that helps. Have a good day.

Ok this is going to be hard...but you need to stick with it. Don't call her for like a week, but if you can't do that...then maybe just 3 days or something. If she's calling you, then that's your answer...she likes you.
Sounds a little junvinile I know, but hey...you need to know right?
If she wonders what's up after the 3 days or one week - then tell her you needed time. Tell her that you've been having these feelings for her and they're getting stronger.
You never know, she may say..."I did miss not talking to you - I think I feel the same way".

One of my best friends who I know I can always rely on is a man. We have been friends for over 8 yrs. When I have a break up, he's the one that cheers me up. When he got married, and later divorced, I was the one to helped him, and still do since he has a child from his previous marriage. I love this guy with all my heart, but he's my best friend, and I would nbot want to spoil that in anyway, and neither does he. Believe me we have talked about it, and decided what we have is better than most.

Apparently you have more than a friend feeling. She isn't there. And yes it is possible for a guy and a girl to be best buds. She knows that her feelings aren't like yours. And she knows how you feel about her without you telling her, She likes the attention, the gifts, etc, she doesn't want to give that up either.You are not listening to her... she tells you, you are her best friend, she does not want to hurt you. That is what she means. You do not kiss your best friend. YOu do not cross that line.

After a year of dating . if she wanted more than a frienship, im sure you would of gotten a kiss by now. She says she doesnt want you to get hurt, meaning she doesnt want you to fall for her because she has no intentions. If you are not going dutch , save your money for someone that will give you the relationship you desire. Or you can always ask her straight out if she has any intentions?

Yes, we can be JUST friends with men, I don't think it works for for guys though. When a guy is friendly with girl, he wants her and just like you propably waiting and wondering what he's doing wrong. Well, we dont often realize you have different intensions, so yes, she most likely sees you as very good friend and doesn't want anything else, sorry.

It's obvious she likes you alot, but to what degree? She may want to spend time with you, but, no commitments. She doesn't want you to get hurt. She knows she can't commit to the degree you want. She wants to date other people too. Sorry and Good Luck!
