the underneath part of my hair is dyed purple, but it's starting to fade to a grayish purple. Do you think if i dyed pik over it, it would be a gross, wierd color, or would the pink just dy over it, or would it be pink and purple?

thanks

colouring hair is tricky. Depends alot of your own natural tones, use the types that have natural match or blending qualities for best results, i use L'OREAL, but not cool colors, to old, don't do pink just browns to match mine, wich is naturally grey now, check see whats there for you.
Happy coloring, if your real worried, get a hairdresser to do it for you. They have the best color for lasting even results. Hope this helps.

If you were do that you might first want to go get your hair stripped so that all the purple comes out of your hair. If you would leave the purple in & put pink over the purple it would either turn a gross color or it wouldnt look the way you expect it to.

(Hint: Pink will turn an orangey color once it starts to fade, depending on the shade of pink)

It depends on the product used before and product using now? If the purple is barely noticable meaning very faded it should be good.

Why don't you dye a little patch and find out? Or you can cut out a strand and dye that. Better test it before you commit...
