try checking the Royal Mail web site. They do a service to provide addresses and post codes. I may depend on how common your father's name is, if he is John Smith it might not work.
I use the Royal Mail web site for finding post codes, it allows up to 10 per day.
Just do a search for Royal Mail, good luck with the search.

If it's an uncommon name, you could try the telephone book.
If you have not seen him for a long time, the Salvation Army will run traces.
If you have never met him before, you should really talk to someone about it before landing on his doorstep or ringing.

192.com , put name and address in it will tell you if there is such a person there , also check out the free sensus checks for that area , hope this helps
