I heard it said that the reason man lived so long in the beginning of the Bible where age is mentioned, is perhaps because so much (sin leading to), sickness wasn't around yet. Sickness, whatever it's cause, may alter DNA replication over time - a very long time.
So maybe it's possible that's the origin of gays?
Or, I've seen on medical shows that we all actually start as females in the uterus. Sometimes when a baby is born, the doctors can't really tell if it's male or female - it's kind of on the fence. They might assign the incorrect sex to the baby.
It's really hard to say. I don't believe being gay is a choice. I don't think people who are gay should be treated any differently than anyone else. Why? They are humans. Who is anyone to judge someone else?
Be happy with who you are and if you can't then go where you can be happy when you are able to do so if you are a minor or can't afford to move right now. No one should be forced to hide what they are to please others.
My best wishes go out to you.

Well, first of all, although there has been a lot of talk about finding proof that people are gay from birth, there has actually never been any scientific evidence to support this claim. Yet, I don't dismiss your experiential evidence.
The Bible teaches that everyone of us is born into sin, with fleshly desires. We all want to do things that God says "no" to, and we all struggle. Is your struggle more difficult than say a man who never marries and is told to remain celibate? In some ways maybe yes, and in some ways not so different.
How we respond to these desires either helps minimize them or causes them to grow and take over. When we resist and choose to rely on God's strength to overcome our fleshly desires, we find a new freedom in Christ that is hard to explain to someone on the outside looking in.
As to why you have this particular desire that God says must be resisted as opposed to other fleshly desires, I don't know for sure, but there is some evidence to suggest it is linked to other experiences or circumstances in your life--things that can be beyond your control. That doesn't mean that God doesn't care for you or that he doesn't feel compassion or offer a way of escape.

He didn't. On the other hand, it's not like Gay people decide one day, "Hey, I think from now on, I'm going to be gay." I think it's more of a subconcious decision that you slowly grow to accomodate until it becomes part of you. But, if you believe in God then you believe in the Devil. And if you think that being Gay is bad or a handicap, then you should blame the Devil. Look to the book of Job. I did my best to answer from a spiritual aspect.

Homosexuality is one of those tough issues facing religion today. In some ways it comes down to a nuture vs. nature kind of thing, meaning, is there something in the way people are raised that makes them lean towards relationships with their own gender or is there something in one's makeup that makes them naturally homosexual. There are some studies out there that suggest a quirk in a person's genetic makeup that makes that person gay. Now, one can't help what their genetic make up is and Christians recognize that God is the creator of all and that God doesn't make mistakes, so what's the fuss? God wants all his children to be happy and we all deserve someone to love and someone to love us. So if two people of the same sex have a loving, caring relationship, then who are we to interfere?

Look if you where indeed gay from birth, then that is your cross to bear, so to speak. Remember, the only people technically allowed to haves sex, in Catholics are married people that do not use contraception. Even natural contraception can be invalid. Masturbation is out. So, most people who would codemn gay sex are just a nasty.

Could you clarify as to what do you mean "from birth"? Were you trying to have sex with men at age five? Not trying to be rude, just asking.
Most of us heterosexuals weren't heterosexual before puberty (we weren't sexually anything). So your question sounds strange to me.
***edit***
Maybe Exodus International can answer your question, because they claim to be "ex-gay". If you are serious about finding an answer to your question, why not ask a professional counsler like them, instead of asking us lay-people?

God doesn't make people gay from birth. If you weren't such a jerk you could get a girl friend, and you wouldn't have to pack fudge with your f*a*g buddies.
