Because unlike the ones mentioned in the bible, the "miracles" (and they would only be miracles if seen by bronze-age sheperds, the rest of us call it SCIENCE) are real and not fairy-tales.

Last time i looked Science had no miracles, some amazing achievements if you like, but no miracles.
Taking the achievements (antibiotics to heal infections for instance) as what you meant, i would say that they are more valuable because they happen to you and me often enough and we would have surely died without them, you do not have that kind of relationship with the parting of the red sea of the death of every first born in Egypt.
If you meant "miracles" like magnets and crystals for healing, those are from no science, just mislabeled superstitions and no, they are of no more value than the miracles in the Genesis.

Because "miracles" of modern science have empirical and tangible data to prove the reality of such a "miracle." Biblical miracles are just a bunch of "Because we said so's." Greater value must be given to the facts not the fictions.

Because how often do we need a red sea parted nowadays or a pillar of fire or manna. Nowadays there are medical miracles and so God does not need to respond the same way (take into consideration that healing was not very realistic in those days).

God works in ways that are not apparent to you and I, but I have seen God work.

How do you explain that my husband is the only person in history to survive a surgery with no paralysis. Not medically posible, but there were a lot of people praying for him?

How do you explain answers to prayer about finances and money coming in when a person needs it.

How do you explain changed hearts?

The answers are not as dramatic nowadays as in the days of Moses and we're more focused on medical science nowadays.

Biblical miracles are miracles of faith, not science. You can't measure faith against science. A miracle of faith that leads many to live a moral and ethical life is not the same as a miracle that leads many to live a life free of polio. In both, quality of life advances, just at different levels of being. I value both, without needing to measure which is greater.

Boy, you need to come a looooooonnnnng way, fella. The scientific method of discovery means that anyone one can duplicate the results given the same set of circumstances. That's why experimentation works, and we have science. Fairytales, on the otherhand, are faith........ with no proof. So, whatever some shepherd saw in the throes of starvation 2000 years ago, don't hold much water with the thinking, intelligent, educated public of today. The bible is history, literally, and actually. Dear god -- protect us from those who believe in you...

I can see science (most of the time), but I can't see the "miracles" mentioned in the bible.

Who is of the opinion that they are of greater value?

I heard someone say that man is getting close to creating life in the laboratory just like God.

The thing is, God started with nothing. Man has to start with material God already made so how can man create anything?

The answer of course, is that he can't...
