When you first enter the park there is a beer garden to your left. Be sure to stop in for a bratt with kraut and a nice tall cold one. Then it's off to the Raptor - funnest, if not scarriest ride in the park.
Get ready for fun filled day if you love roller coasters. Oh, and check out the jet ski rental on the beach on the east side of the park near the rear.
This park totally rocks. It has been voted the best amusement park in the world like eight years in a row, or something like that. They have the best collection of roller coasters anywhere.
HAVE FUN!!!

Cedar Point is a great theme park. They have so many different rides, so there's something for just about everyone to enjoy. If you're really into roller coasters i suggest Millenium Force, the Raptor, and the Mantis. Those are my personal favorites! All of them are very smooth and don't jerk you around a lot like some of the other coasters there. The Iron Dragon is a good coaster that's not intense at all, if that's what you like. I also recommend Snake River Falls and the other water rides there if it's hot out. Maxair is another one of my favorites and its a great way to dry off after water rides.
The hot dogs there have made someone sick every time I have visited the park, so i would stay away from those. There are several sit-down restaurants that aren't usually crowded and there are food stands throughout the park. My favorite places to eat are under the lift ride at the front of the park and at a food stand near the train ride.
I also think you should know that the Top Thrill Dragster is way over rated. I went on it and was pretty disappointed. The ride is so short, theres barely enough time to enjoy it. It might be worth it to ride it if theres not much of a line though, just for bragging rights.
Have a good time on Sunday. Hope this helps!

Ah, Cedar Point is so much fun! Get there as soon as the park opens. The older iron coasters like the Magnum are a lot of fun and they're not very popular anymore, so the lines are shorter. Definitely ride the Magnum around sunset. The view of Lake Erie from the top hill is spectacular. The newer rides are quick rides with long lines, so they're not all that worth it. The Raptor is a blast too. I like the rides where your legs dangle.
As far as food goes, it's all about the same. Cotton candy is now 25 cents, so it's a fun treat. Bring your own bottled drinks if you can.
Have a great time! Wear sunscreen and comfortable shoes!

i suggest not to eat to much food but keep yourself hydrated by drinking water or soemthing cold. i drank a lot of water and a couple slushy or iccy things..i go at least once a year...and top thrill is a blast..i was there last summer and they kept having problems with it..after standin line for over an hour and it breakin down 3 times we said forget it...the rides are all fun...take some asprin and some motion sickness medicine..the wooden rollar coasters beat you up like crazy..and rides like the raptar make me motion sick...but its all a lot of fun..and be prepared to wait in line forever sometimes...and most of all have fun and enjoy it!!!

dont eat before yo go. the rides are all crazy awesome. pack sunscreen, you will be waiting a long time in some of the lines, and be glad you had it on at the end of the day. Pack light food and drink...(i.e water and sandwiches). The food there is okay, but costs a fortune.

I wouldn't eat much food before you go on those roller coasters. The Millenium Force makes me want to throw up just by looking at it. Enjoy the best park on the planet!!

When you hit the roller coasters hold on to your sunglasses, wallet, comb, and any coins you might have in your pockets... you will be going on some incredibly amazing rides!
