they put a stint sp* in to drain everything, but the kidney is still infected. How long until it is better? and when do you think she will be out of the hospital? thanks!

well it should take about 3 days for the infection to go away..it depends on wat kind of medicine they gave her.....she should be home by friday if the infection goes away

a stent is put in to drain the urine from the kidney to the bladder.she will go home when her doctors determine that she is on the correct antibiotics and when her kidney function has improved.

Only the doctor can tell you that, KC. But it shouldn't be too long, if nothing untoward happens.
She'll probably have to be a bit careful in what she eats and drinks when she comes home. She and the doctor should be able to explain.
