Drink lots of water, and eat healthy foods especially salads! or whole wheat bread with cream-cheese. Anything with lots of fibre is good for you like Honey Nut Cheerios in a bowl of milk for breakfast (NEVER skip breakfast! studies have shown that girl's who skip breakfast gain more weight, because they become more hungry in the afternoon, they tend to eat more and make up for the missed breakfast..also girls who drink milk stay thinner throughout life)... it will make you go to the washroom more often (which will make you lose weight)
*Start counting your calories, read every label on food boxes (usually calories, and how much fat - try to minimize the fat intake especially)
Also..don't forget to exercise, try taking up a women's aerobic kickboxing class, or try doing some Pilate's or yoga...this helps you to tone your body and lose weight.

I'm a trainer at a gym and I'm going to tell you what i tell everyone else. Your size and weight don't mean anything. You need to go to a workout facility and check your body fat % relative to what it should be for your age, weight and height. Afterward begin your workouts, about 45 min a day you should do something very active on the heart and lungs (heavy breathing). Every other day do light lifting because of your age and try to be as active during the day as possible. Remember, you are given an option in everything that you do, choose the physically harder path as often as you can, the more effort you put into losing the weight the greater your results will be. Let me know if you have anymore questions, Good Luck Sweetie!!

Believe it or not, it may help to stop eating meat so much. Nowadays, humans eat WAY too much meat than is healthy, and it would help to cut down on the animal flesh for a while. Cut back on the fatty foods, junk food, and anything sugary, especially Coke and other sodas. Try drinking something like ramune every once in a while, as it's a fizzy drink with a lot of sugar in it, but we all need sugar (just not a lot of it). SKIP BREAKFAST. I KNOW this sounds like a step towards anorexia, but it truly helps. My uncle lost 50 pounds in 2 months, and he skipped breakfast every day.
I hope this helps!

First, don't worry about your weight so much. You are young and will probably lose it eventually. Don't do anything desperate.
You need to do a lot of cardio (like walking and esp. jumping rope) to burn calories. You also need to portion your food and avoid eating food that is too manufactured (but if you don't eat enough food it could cause more problems for you). Make sure you eat dairy also and don't skip any meals because this will help keep your metabolism up.
You might not want to lose weight too quickly though because it can cause for your skin to get baggy even though you are so young that it might not happen.

i'm in the same exact place. i'm not overweight, but i still feel self concious when i am around skinny girl (probably like most girls do) i am trying to lose weight before school starts. i am going to the gym 3 times a week and running 3 times a week (usually on different days) plus i am on a diet with no sweets, no junk food, no soda....so pretty much i am eating healthy and drinking water. its really working. i'm gaining a lot of muscle from running and going to the gym and am really starting to see the difference. it just take a lot of hard work to make it work. after the first week, it gets much easier to workout and eat right. keep the goal in your mind all the time. you will lose wieght in no time. but be careful about it. no diet pills, and no crash diets
good luck!

Eat better foods, exercise more, and eat more frequently.
Use a calorie and activity tracker like the one on kraft (link below) to really calculate how much you are taking in and what your weight loss goals are.
Be sure to record EVERYTHING from a few m&m's to soda to a piece of bread. You'll start to see where you are gong wrong. You dno't have to follow the food plans that they give, but by tracking your calories via that function, you can really watch where you are wasting them.

First of all do NOT stop eating. That is the worse thing to do. One thing you can do is eat salad and alot of veggies and stay away from foods with alot of grease. Also go to webmd.com and type in how to lose weight and it will give you some safe tips. good luck

Don't try to lose it quickly..... you can hurt yourself
Watch what you eat, drink plenty of water and exercise for at least 30 minutes a day(at the same time).
The weight will come off.

Eat right and exercise.....don't do any diet pills because they can come with some nasty and even deadly side effects, especially for a kid who's 12 years old.
Talk to your doctor about your problem. He or she can help you with it.

Eat less ( but do continue eating) eat healthier choices and exert more energy. Increase your physical activity. It could be as simple as going for walks everyday.
