Ethical - She knows the right thing to do and uses her own judgement on situations.
Intelligent - We could teach each other things and learn from each other. Everyone looks at our world in a different way.
Fun - Likes to have fun and she lives in the moment. A person who doesn't carry a load of worries eveywhere they go.
Athletic - Knows how to play sports that we both like to play and has fun playing them. I wouldn't want my soulmate to be a couch potato.
Creative - Looks at things from different perspectives. Someone who isn't stuck in the normal way of thinking. Creative, Imaginative, likes to try new things.
Helping people - Gets satisfaction from helping people, feels she has a purpose in her life, has goals and other things she wants to achieve during her lifetime, likes to serve God.
Music Lover - Likes music (doesn't have to be the same kind as I listen to, although I don't like Rap or Hip-Hop) and gets enjoyment from listening to it.
Christian - Believes and has faith in God and lives in a Christian way of life (according to the Ten Commandments)... We all sin, but we need to ask for forgiveness from God through prayer (I believe).
Appearance - Beautiful and Tall
...funny and honest
Those are the characteristics I look for most in a soulmate. I hope this helped out.
FYI - On the question you asked, "Why were humans made so the first thing you see is physical appearance," I wasn't implying that you or anyone who thinks that personality was important was ugly. I was just saying what some people think and how people make generalizations that can be wrong (generalizations are wrong most of the time anyway).

My boyfriend, he is funny, smart, responsible, he listens to me when I speak to him, he is spontaneous, very romantic, thoughtful...but most importantly, we can lay in bed and talk for hours, about nothing really specific, just talk. I can act myself around him and no be ashamed or embarrassed. He is my best friend and my boyfriend, hopefully someday he will be my husband and the father of my children. I feel very lucky to have found him.

He is perfect. I want to please him all the time and he tries to please me all the time (and not just in bed). You overlook those things like the toilet seat being up or the laundry on the floor because it is not important. I currently live with my perfect soul mate.

Someone that I can't wait to get home to after work.....I see his name on caller ID and can't wait to answer.....He knows when I need him around and when I need my space.....We just click....His quircks are cute.....We know how to work problems out together.....We are really in love, and it doesn't end because we understand each other very well.
