Hello any pet can get ringworm and people to .
Ringworm is a fungus and it can spread to all parts of the body.
To treat ringworm you need anti fungal shampoo or creams such as canistan and there are powders to for pets.
You could catch ringworm from your pet and your pet could pass
it to other pets, ringworm looks like soft scaly patches and the fungi lives under the scales of skin so the area needs to be washed and cleaned then anti fungal cream /powder applied until clear.
Any thing you use on the fungal infection needs to be thrown away after or boil washed .
Ringworm can lay dormant on outside things such as trees once it has found a host it can spread fairly fast.
I hope this may help your cat and do wear gloves when treating your cat .
best wishes to you .

It is ringworm...not ringworms. It is not a worm but a fungus. It causes hairloss and itching. It runs it course and doesn't have any lasting effects....however, all people and pets in the house will probably get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, it's a fungal skin condition that can be passed on to humans. So take your cat to the vet and get the infection cleared up. --For YOUR OWN sake, if not for the cats'.
