No you do not need to ingest lactose to be healthy. The reason so many have bad reactions to lactose is milk is not intended to be a significant part of an adult human's diet. We consume so much junk that robs are bodies of calcium plus we live so long that we have an artificially high need for calcium these days, which can be addressed other than with cow's milk. Cow's contribute to pollution greatly, waste a ton of fertile space and the milk is unhealthy except for the calcium. Same applies to lactose-free, which is better if one is intolerant but still has these issues....but I digress...

Do not bake with soy milk products, but you can use them in any cold recipes or drink plain. Vanilla is quite good. Rice milk is also good. They are as rich in calcium as cow's milk and unlike cow's milk, the soy base itself provided added health benefits.

Yes, you don't need lactose to be healthy. Some people are lactose intolerant. If you can digest the soy milk better, go for it. You might try goats milk too. Easier to digest.

Sure! Just take a calcium supplement! You really don't need the lactose in milk, it's the calcium that's most important.

I need to do more research, but you may want to research phytates. It is a chemical in soy that supposedly depletes the body of minerals. I switched back to milk after using soy for a couple of years after hearing about it.

don't know about the lactose, but it is a form of sugar, i think, so you can probably be fine without it. i read recently that pregnant women should not have soy products because it can cause infant males to have abnormally small genitals. i thought that was weird, but it makes sense, because in other cases it helps women with low estrogen, doesn't it?

you could purely go away the milk out in case you want to, yet I doubt it can make a huge difference in case you used soy milk. upload somewhat vanilla extract and orange zest for better style to the french toast. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

No, in fact many people think that soy milk is quite healthy. I know lots of people who use it with their breakfast cereal.
