There is more to it than that. Those that are faithful to the teachings of Jesus Christ and follow all of His commandments will become as He is in what is called the Celestial Kingdom. Those that are good people but not faithful to the teachings of Christ go to a place called the Terrestrial Kingdom. The wicked people of the earth go to a place called the Telestial Kingdom. Finally, those that have entirely turned against God have place in Perdition, being subject to Satan. Hell is a state of mind or of spriritual being when the individual comes to grips with his/her own mistakes and suffers their own torment for those sins. All of God's children that repent will have rest in their own respective kingdoms eventually. The only ones that will have no relief will be the sons of perdition, the true inhabitants of hell.

I have heard the expression 'the heavens of the heavens.' I believe there is the heaven above the earth and a heaven between that and the heaven of God.
I don't know if there is a hell. I am a christian and I still agree with the Jews on that. They do not know if there is a hell or not. I know there will be consequences in the next life for the way we lived on earth. I'm not at all sure that unrepentent sinners will burn forever in a gigantic fire which never end and where they will never die. There are too many ways the bible uses the word fire to be sure it is not symbolic. ....the fire of God's love....the fire of God's Spirit.etc. As they say "the jury is still out on that one." If there is such a place I am sure I am not going there because I have surrendered my life to Jesus and I trust Him for my future.

Impossible. Presumably good people go to heaven, right? But what 'good' person could sit idly by while people are tormented in hell? I submit that anyone truly worthy of heaven would not stand for it.
This would leave us with two possibilities: an empty heaven and everybody in hell, either being tormented or trying to help the tormented; or everyone eventually saved into heaven (or hell re-made into heaven) and an empty hell. Either way, you end up with a useless cosmological entity - and something which effects nothing is effectively nonpresent.

I believe in one Heaven and one Hell. Do I worry about either, no. I am just going through this life trying, to be more Christ-like. I am learning as I go to love those that would be cruel to me. To know the true forgiveness of Jesus. The compassion on others. I am learning many things but the worry about Heaven and Hell is not there. Thanks for asking.

There are 3 heavens and 1 hell and there is another place reserved for Satan and his fallen angels as well as those who do not Accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour by the time The Great White Throne Judgement happens and it is called the Lake of Fire.
3 Heavens
2Cor 12:2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such a one caught up to the third heaven.
Check this out might make some sense =>http://www.christiangeology.com/firmament.html
Don't take my word for it research it your self!
Lake of Fire
Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever
Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Yes.
Both Heaven and Hell are discussed as real places in the Holy Bible.
God created both but Hell was created for Lucifer the devil and the fallen angels with Lucifer that rebelled against God.
To not end up in hell a person should repent of their sins and believe that Jesus Christ died for those sins and rose from the dead.

Since hell is also called Sheol, hades and the grave it is difficult to not believe in it since everyone dies and where they are buried or scattered is their grave.
On the other hand Heaven is subject to whether you believe in what the Christian Bible teaches about it. If you don't believe then there is a large possibility that you would never make it there, thus never know if it really existed or not. Otherwise you have to take it on faith that it does exist.
For example: I have read about Abraham Lincoln but I have never met the man. Since I never met him it is possible he never existed. That sounds ludicrous, I know, but think about it. There is more documentation about the existence of Heaven than there is about the existence of Abraham Lincoln and I have to believe that Abraham Lincoln really existed? Hmmmmm

I believe in heaven because said it and he also stated heaven and earth may pass away but not his word. Hell is a place where satan and all evil dwell and god said he cast them into the bottomless pit which means their is no end
