your lower back is alot more sensitive than your arms would be, especially a male's arm.

a females skin is alot more delicate, and the back is a painful spot to get a tattoo. and coloring, and stuff, might be more painful.

Just expect the worse, and it wont seem so bad when it does happen ;)

I want to tell you a funny story. I walked into a salon one day and I saw a pretty young girl with a tatoo of a rose high on her breast. She had just had her hair done and was walking out when three little old ladies were sitting on the bench. One of the ladies said,"That girl don't know it yet but that rose is going to be a long stem rose by the time she's as old as us!" I had never laughed so hard in my life! The point I am trying to illustrate is Your skin will continue to grow. Think hard before getting a tatoo. This is why I never got the one I wanted. But make sure if you get one don't brand yourself with someone elses name. And to answer your queston, yes across your back is going to hurt.

Please do not pass in there and be a drama queen, they've a role to do and also you squealing and wriggling isn't going to make it any simpler! I'd say it is approximately a five, possibly a three in a few locations. Remember you need to keep nonetheless cos if you're leaping round all over the place the location then errors occur.

Why are you getting a tattoo? Your brain is too young to function properly, and in two years you are going to regret it. Wait until your brain is fully developed.

A six??? What a wuss. Tatoos don't hurt. Close to the bone, it might sting a little, but hurt? Nonsense.

can you even get one legally at 16? I thought you had to be 18...

It'll hurt, and it'll scar over. And it'll hurt. Have fun with that.

I wouldn't trust a shop that would tattoo a minor.
