is she eating ok and drinking plenty of liquids? if so, it may just be the heat wave we are having. how old is she? maybe call your vet and schedule a check-up. won't cost that much if you can catch it early whatever the problem may be if any!
good luck

Well you can tell if they have a fever by feeling there nose. If it is dry and warm they probably aren't up to par but if it is moist and wet then it is fine. Usually animals are very obvious when they are really sick. They get very lethargic, sometimes there fur gets oilly looking, you can find a large mass on the body and the nose thing. The dog could just be getting old. If the dog is inside most of the time you might want to take it out and let it eat some grass. Grass has a bunch of natural healing properties in it for dogs and it makes them throw up to get any toxins out that they might have eaten. Also make sure it didn't get into any rat poison. If it did get in to any decon then watch to make sure its poop isn't green if it is it needs to get to the Dr immediately to get a high dose of potassium (vitamin K). You could also call your vet and see what they have to say. Vets give advise over the phone alot of the time.

U can take her 2 the vet and ask 4 a blood test. But if she is eating and going 2 the bathroom fine, no vomiting or diarrhea than I wouldn't worry. When my dog is up late she is usually tired the next day. Try getting in a routine with ur dog---have her in bed by 10 and up in the morning at 7. She will get used 2 the routine and won't be lazy/tired the following day.

If you're living somewhere that's been quite hot recently, the weather may be the cause of your dog lying around more than usual. Why is your dog staying up late? Is she watching Leno or something?

1. Is her nose wet or dry? Is it hot or cold? (Dry and hot usually means a temperature).
2. Is she panting a lot?
3. Is she drinking more or less than usual?
4. Has her appetitie changed?
5. Does she appear to be in any type of pain?
If you answered "yes" to any of the above or just don't feel right about how your dog is acting, take her to the vet to be evaluated.
