A friend has been asking me this riddle for over five years now and it is driving me insane! He says it comes from one of the Batman movies but I have never come across it.

the answer is a bird egg.
okay let's take the riddle part by part.
you see a bird egg is usually six ounces (info. from google.)
an egg is usually up in the tree.
lastly, when it falls, it is extremely dangerous cause when the mother/ father bird see's you, there is only one left option. RUN!!!
