I was on effexor and it made me feel suicidal and more depressed. blurred vision, dizziness. I couldn't sleep, or was sleeping all the time. I wouldn't eat, and shortly after OD on the medication itself. Effexor is different for all people but if you are having suicidal thoughts call your doctor right away and get it changed

Effexor used to make me tweek out of control! I would feel SO full of pent up energy that I thought I'd go insane. You should try Zoloft. The effects aren't so strong as Effexor. The withdrawal from Effexor can be horrible.

Alcohol, as a CNS depressant, will wrestle the effects of the effexor. you oftentimes start to sense inebriated plenty quicker once you drink on an antidepressant. There are incredibly no extraordinarily risky effects except you consume a multitude of alcohol, yet sure the alcohol lowers Serotonin ranges and so the effexor could have the deliver them lower back up.
