Eyebrow Waxing...?

Question

Well, I'm a 15 year old girl, and I'd like to start waxing my eyebrows. They're not overly bushy, they could just use a good grooming.

So, my question is, how can I bring this up with my mom? We don't really talk about "girl stuff," and it's amaxing how nervous I am to ask her about something as small as waxing my eyebrows!

You have to talk to your mom about this. You have to be mature about it. Say to her, "Mom, I need your advice on something." Then, you just start talking about the eye waxing. Give her reasons to why you want it done. (Do not say that your friends are getting it done.) That will not fly with all moms. Make it an event. Like a mom and daughter day. Just be real with your mom.
Everything will work out fine. Now be advised that your mom might say no. Respect that, okay. You are 15 years old. You probably do not need it anyway. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it best way or the way i would do it is go shopping with her and if you see those salons at the mall quickly look over and ask your mom then. That is how i ask my mom. Or you can ask her hey mom can we go to a salon my nails look ugly and when you get your nails done and there is waxing you can ask then and since you guys really dont talk about the girl stuff it will seem like a good start and can soften her up to say yes or for like mothers day or birthday or christmas anytime there is a chance to look better then ever

A good way to begin is to find out if your mom gets her eye brows waxed, because if she does she'll be more understanding. Kindly ask your mom if you can go with her next time she gets her brows waxed, so you can get yours waxed as well.
If your mom doesn't get her brows waxed, don't fret. Ask some of your friends (who get their brows done) where they go and how much it costs. Then ask your mom if you could get your eyebrows waxed for (however much it costs) at (whatever place). Maybe you could even go with your friend so you can watch her and see how they wax eye brows before they do it.
-Do your research
-Be polite
-Don't be pushy with mom and tell her you HAVE TO get them done, just tell her you'd really like to
-Worst case scenario is that your mom says no. If so, don't throw a fit. Just say, "Okay, well, let me know if you change your mind". If you act maturely then your mom will think "Wow, maybe she is ready to get her brows done," which means she'll end up taking you to do so.
-If your mom says you can get them done, don't forget to say Thank You!

just tell her that you're interested in taming your eyebrows. Tell her that you know you guys don't do or talk about those things together, but that you're growing up and are caring more about your outer appearance. If she agrees, then have her come with you. Suggest that she get hers done as well. Now you've brought the topic up and she sees how much you're growing, and it also provides some quality time together.

Then later on, she'll trust you to go with say your friends or something.

I always feel comfortable going with someone who is getting their eyebrows done too, or whatever. I'm allergic to the wax so I don't get mine done, but my friends always say it's better when I go with them. So yeah.

Just bring up something like: Omg Keira Knightley's eyebrows are goregous.
Mom: Yeah
You: I want my eyebrows waxed. Can you make an appointment?

main nail salons offer eyebrow waxing. If you get your nails done, the next time you are at the nail salon, ask them to do a wax for you.

Eyebrow tweezing isn't painful till you get down in the route of the lid extremely than the forehead. higher lip tweezing is painful! friends say they prefer waxing because it is all executed directly.

ok well ask your mom.just tell her shes your mom you can tell her anything. ok if you are jus scared shes gonna say no jus try it she cant get mad because you ask. tell her thaht you jus dont think they look nice and that they need to be groomed. she can take you to a professional place. where i go they charge me 10 bucks. but if you get them done professionally you can go about 4 times a year and pluck them yourself after you get the right shape if you dont want to go whenever they start growing. i find pluckin to be a hassle, so i wax them peopl say they get thicker but as for me they grow slower, which is good. jus tell your mom and whatever you do go to a good place where they wont mess them up.

my mom took me to get my nails done and while we were there she made me get my eyebrows waxed. it hurts really bad and it makes the area around your eyebrows swell. just tell her that you need to get your eyebrows waxed it's not that hard.
