I've known this kid for 4 years now. He helps out on the farm where i live with my father. He is 16 and I am 20. To me he is my adopted brother and im his older sister. He even has his own room in our house where he lives for a couple weeks in the month. We spend almost everyday together and if we dont see eachother he always calls me in the morning and then at night. Granted it's weird for a 20 year old to be friends with a 16 year old but hey he's the bestest friend i've ever had. and i dont want to loose this friendship- there hasnt been many people that i can actually trust. Here's the problem: we get along so well and hang out so often that friends, family and people we just meet- think that we are dating. We have repeatedly said "No, we're just friends". Nobody but our parents believe us. now it's come to the point where friends are telling us we should go out and to stop denying our feelings - please give any advice you can.

First off, it doesnt matter what other people think. You know what is in your heart, and that is all that matters. Secondly, the reason that they are saying these things are because of you actions, you might want to step back and look at your body language and the things that you say to eachtoher. That might be why they are getting that impression. Stay strong.

Well if you have feeling for him than you should go out with him. But if you only see him as a friend then stay friends.

Why does it matter what anyone else thinks? You have whatever type of relationship you're both comfortable with.

everyone would say stop.,don't no! but how do you feel? you ask us how you feel? feelings can't be wrong, but they're actions can be.
