The ones you peel off the strip of white paper and came in like, pink, blue, yellow and green? I think they're called Candy Buttons. Sometimes they were called Candy Dots too I think. I used to eat them as a kid all the time.

You can get them at almost any candy store. You don't see them in grocery stores and stuff as much anymore :-( I think they're made by Necco, but other companies probably make them too. If you have a "Sweet Factory" near you, try there. Or Swann's Pantry (very small chain of stores, you probably haven't heard of. There's one in Quakertown if you live anywhere near there).

They were called several different names, but the only 2 that come to mind are candy dots and doodads.

Aren't they called "Dots"? Nope, I just looked that one up. Try searching for "Retro Candy" and look at the pictures that come up. I know what you're talking about but don't recall the name.
