You should boil them first for 45 minutes in a lot of garlic and onions and beef stock and then put them in your oven for 15 minutes on 450 with barbeque sauce on top to caramelize, Yum!! (Cut first into serving sizes eg four bones) and boil until tender which is usually 45 minutes to an hour depending on the thickness and the amount of garlic as garlic tenderizes and speeds up the cooking process)

In a 450 degree oven ribs would take about an hour to an hour and a half to burn. They should be cook in a low oven very slowly, this penetrates the flavors of your seasoning, and makes for a tender rib. Try cooking them in a 325 degree oven if you need them more quickly but 300 is best. I recently made them on a BBQ indirect heat for 4 hours. so lower heat longer cooking time better results.

Why would you cook them in a 450 degree oven? Ribs should be cooked at a low heat for a longer period of time. It makes them tender.

I agree with the first two. If you just put them in the oven at that temp, you may as well go to MCD's. They will be tough, fatty and hard to eat. Any sauce on them will completely burn.
PreBoiling them in salted and spiced water is the best shortcut. Follow that up with 15 minutes in the broiler.
The best way though is well known. Put a spice rub on it and cook it at 225-250 for 6- hours. Sauce goes on after

No, don't do it! They'll be so tough you won't enjoy them. You need to cook them at a low temp, like 300, for a longer period of time so they'll be juicy and soft.
