It seems like nice guys finish last. Anyone know why? Do guys act like buttholes on purpose for some reason?

Nice question. I agree that woman sometimes want the bad guys and that nice guys finish last. I think it's a matter of maturity, and their lack of it. A mature person knows that you can't change a person, but an immature person still tries to change a person that does not want to change.
The good news is, as a nice guy, we do finish last. We are usually the woman's "last" relationship. :-)
And we do finish last...where it counts.

It's not that nice guys finish last.
It's that the more aggressive men (only after sex) try to get there first, much like male animals. And they will fight the other men for access to you. Nice guys don't fight.
The nice ones will also let the women make their own decisions, which is often the first guy that gets there (but not always).
Hence, the more aggressive, more hostile, more "macho" types.
Nice guys don't fight as hard to get there first. They look for other things -- loyalty, faithfulness, responsibility, work ethic, morals, will she be a good wife, a good mother?
It takes time to find those things out.
SOOO..... they "finish last" -- but not really, because in the end, we win out over the bad ones.

Beware the men that put other men down in front of you, he's the one to stay away from. Nice guys don't put other men down in front of women, no matter how bad. We simply say he's having a bad day or something like this.
Oh -- one other thing -- nice guys also stay away from women who haven't learned their lessons yet -- we watch to see how she picks her guy -- weeds out the bad ones for us, you know?.
If you want the nice guy, look for the one who is watching you from the sidelines. It isn't always obvious. Could be one of your best friends you never thought was ever interested in you.

You ever hear about that theory that if people are exposed to chaos most of their lives,thats the kind of people they are attracted to?
In most cases alot of woman don't have the top notch lives and when a rotten guy comes around they are attracted to him and his drama. In most cases girls think they can change things in a guy,but in all reality,it causes misery,and you get caught up in what he wants,and his rotten attitude.
Alot of girls think the bad boys are the guys to go for,but the appeal isn't a novelty once you've had it. All i can is not many woman will learn from the mistake of dating "rotten attitude guy"

Women like confidence and power. There is no short supply of men too foolish to consider the consequences of their actions, and thus seem to have both. In fact, they have little of either.

Yes they act like butt-holes because that's what most women seem to like. Its one thing to be self confident but most men act like little boys and turn into jackasses. I wish women would wise up and stop putting up with them.

Some people don't know how to live normal lives...a lot (most) women feel like they always need some kind of drama going on...hence, the bad boy.

I think most woman think they can change a bad boy. But it took me a lot of years and having my heart broken too many times to realize you can't!

You can't help where your heart falls, and once it lands it is very hard to change it no matter how cruddy they treat you. It takes a VERY strong person to make your head over rule your heart.

Low self esteem, issues with their father, shallowness...the way the guy looks, excitement
