hi, my problem is, eat too much. I eat when i'm bored, I eat when i'm not even hungry. And it's not healthy food either. I eat carmalized bananas, potato chips, chocolate, and stuff like that. it's a total act of gluttony. Someday, i'll be very unhealthy and fat. So does anyone have tips to help me break my unhealthy eating habit?

Distract yourself. You say you eat when you are bored and even when you are not hungry. Try to do something that will keep your mind off food. But if you're really hungry, eat healthy foods, and don't eat candy that much. When you get bored, and grab a carmalized banana, look at it and think "Do I really want to be fat the rest of my life?" Also, sleeping helps too when you doze off, you forget about your hunger. Hope this helps!

You should keep a food diary. Don't worry about counting fat or calories, just notice what you are eating. Just seeing it written down can be a surprise - once in a while you can add up the calories that you are actually eating, but just watching what you eat helps you stay focused and eat healthier.

You should also consider getting exercise. If you are running, walking, biking 4-5 days a week for 30 minutes a day, you can pig out on sweets, and it won't show up on your tummy the next day.

Ok, make an mental effort when you're bored or even depressed, to pick up a can of something, instead of food or junk food. Through time, this will do the trick. You might have a new prob, though. When depressed, some people eat more. But I drink more.

It sounds like you might be like me-somewhat of an emotional eater. I try to drink lots of water before and during meals so that I don't fill up too much on meals or so I don't need a snack too soon. Keep Slimfast shake mix and fresh fruit on hand for healthy snacks and limit your intake of food before bedtime. Good luck!
Oh! Also, be sure to stay active!

At the risk of being obvious, don't bring these unhealthy foods into your house. Stock up on healthier foods and, if you overeat, you won't do as much damage. You may not be fat now, but you're definitely working on "unhealthy."

Sounds like you need to go on a low carb diet. After a few days, your craving for all sorts of things go away.

1.Give me the food. I want junk too.
2.Do something else instead of eating to keep you busy.
