Yes. It will turn red, but only for about 15 minuites most likely. You might get little bumps, just like you might if you get your eyebrows waxed but it depends on your skin.
You probably wont. Just take care of your skin and you shouldent have a problem!

if you wax it would stay for at least a week 1/2. Yes you would want to keep doing it if you are really self conscience and if your scared of people noticing again. It really all depends were you go the first will always hurt more then the rest. If you know if your skin reacts more there could be a chance. Once you get if wax do not touch it or sratch for that whole day because your pores are still open and more bacteria can get it in and irriate your skin more. It also depends where you go some you will like more then other and find your favorite place. There is a bigger risk that if you keep shaving little red bumps will start to grow then waxing it off. I prefere waxing over shaving in everything.

waxing is really your best option. Go have it done professionally. Later on you can handle it yourself.
Waxing will leave skin nice and smooth, it will reduce hair growth in a while and it will not be like shaving: short, hard hairs that grows back. Redness will only last for a short time. An hour or so. 4 - 6 weeks till next wax.
Good luck.

Ok, first of all, NAUGHTY for shaving your lip!
It is more noticeable because when you shave you are cutting the hair & it encourages it to grow back thicker. Not too sre why your skin would be lighter, have you used a lightening agent on it at all, a bleach?
The best bet is for you to definately wax it, depending on the spped of your hair growth, you could get 2, 3 or 4 weekd out of it, some of my clients get theirs done every 5 weeks, and then there are others that come in every week.
Give it a go & see how long for the hair growth to come back!
Good Luck!

you SHOULD HAVE NEVER SHAVED THE UPPER LIP. IT WILL BE FINE TO WAX IT. IT SHOULD LAST AGOOD 4-6 WEEKS DEPENDING ON THE RATE OF GROWTH. EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT. AFTER YOU GET IT WAXED IT WILL BE A BIT RED, BUT THAT SHOULD ONLY LAST A FEW HOURS AT THE MOST. I HAVE WAXED MANY LIPS AND THE CHANCES OF BUMPS ARE SLIM IF DONE RIGHT. BUT SOME PEOPLES SKIN JUST DOESNT TAKES TO THE WAXING. BUT EVERYTHING SHOULD BE 100% FINE.
GOOD LUCK, AND PLZ DONT EVER SHAVE YOUR LIP AGAIN.

it would last about 2-5 weeks.
you have more of a chance of it getting red if you do it yourself also because most people tend to be scared and take alot longer. But when you get it done at the salon theyre quick.
it would be red at first, but theres stuff you can put on it to make it go away.
there probably wont be little bumps, unless you have very sensitive skin.
But, i recommend not getting waxed at all, it will make the hair grow in wirey and plus it gives you wrinkles....and you dont want that.
Try sally hansen's facial hair bleach. it lightens it and makes it look like nothings there (especially if you have fair skin) you have to do it more often if its growing in, but it only takes 10 minutes.

with waxing you should be good for a few week. Do it on a friday because you don't know ho your skin will react. also use a sugar wax like nads. follow the directions to the letter or it won't work. Sugar wax is better because it does not stick to you skin as much. So you will have less of a skin reaction. (no bumps)
