John David Webster "Made to Shine" album. It is a mix of Christian blues, rock, and ballads. The song "Now" on the album is absolutely amazing.
Anything from Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, Jeremy Camp, Michael W. Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman, and Hillsong is GREAT!

Kirk Franklin Hero and the CD before is awesome, Fred hammond, J-Moss, Ty Tribet, Matthew West, The lead singer from DC talk who is now solo I can't remember his name, Super Chick, Accapella, Take Six, The Winans Brothers(not Bebe And CeCe) Yolanda Adams is good Mary Mary is fun, that should be able to get you started, I could list Christian artits for eva. Most of this music has a very contemporary sound that you can Bump in the ride but still get your praise on. As far as the African American Comment. Thats silly don't even pay attention to it. Remember People hated Jesus so they are going find reasons to hate you. Thats my two cents Peace

I agree with Kirk Franklin, Ty, Yolanda Adams. Mary Mary. I also love Isreal and New Breed, Shekinah Glory, Marvin Sapp, Martha Manozzi (spelling?) Check out Yahoo's launch and go to Gospel or Christian Contempory and listen for awhile to get a feel for what you like.

there is not any longer some thing incorrect for christian making a song non-songs.The theory continually numerous on man or woman. case in point, you're a rock singer by using occupation earlier you became a christian, does that recommend you may not sing non-christian song anymore? surely No. Many characters reported interior the bible are from all walks of lives. Worst are the tax-collector for the period of Christ time. yet they were no longer rejected in any respect. instead, they were credited for his or her actual and truthful repentance. someone might want to be continuously making a song christian songs yet 'making a song out' such as his unwillingness to provide help even as he sees someone in want, so what's the point? do not you imagine so? it is your truthful heart to obey and keep on with Him which could lead you to heaven no longer your song.

Derek Webb--Mockingbird is the album. It's courageous, it's prophetic, it's beautiful. Christian alternative-punk rock
Nicole Nordeman rocks the stage with solid pop offerings and thoughtful lyrics, especially her earlier albums.

Personally, I ADORE Selah and Micheal W. Smith. Mark Schultz is the absolute bomb. OH!! Don't forget Casting Crowns. Selah's best album is Hiding Place and Casting Crowns, well, I don't remember, but it has a crown tossed in the beach. Anything by Mark Schultz is awesome. See you at the banquet table.
